If you like the Talking Heads as much as I do (and I know you do), or even a bit less than I do (what?), then be sure and tune in this Friday at 11pm.

I received special permission from David Byrne's management to air some excellent unofficial live recordings. Two of them, in fact (maybe more if you're lucky), dating from as early as 1978. These recordings are old, but the sound quality is pristine. Plus, it's Talking Heads at their finest.

Here's the catch: Following Mr. Byrne's wishes, this program will be deleted from the archive as soon as the hour's up-it will not be available for future streaming or downloading. So you'll have to catch it as it's happening.

But if you're jonesing for some Short Memory downloads (and I know you are), go back to last week's program with Gavin Castleton. He was in the station, and it made for a fascinating interview with a guy who is totally and completely on top of his musical game right now. And the music was choice.
