Anxious debut

Well, I've got the first one out of the way and under my belt. It can only get better. The thing I'm happiest about is that I remembered to thank everyone I meant to thank. Thanks to Jessica and Ava for the encouraging words of support during the show - it helped tremendously. Thanks also to Tony, who preceded me on the air. I only found out two minutes before 12 that there were no styluses on the turntables; I had planned to lead the program with an LP cut. So Tony kind of handed it off to me, verbally, and I was so thrown off by this turn of events that I completely missed the rather obvious irony and humor when I spelled out the title of the first track I played: "Fufu...that's F-U-F-U." Auspicious beginning, no?

Hoping the needles will be restored and my technical know-how with the cassette deck can be improved in time for the second show!
