The time spent hosting "Better Get It In Your Soul" is quickly becoming my favorite two hours of the week. The third show went off pretty much without a hitch, and I feel far more comfortable with the controls and equipment - though I could still use more polish when it comes to cueing vinyl tracks. I don't know how many people are actually listening, but I hope that everyone who does is introduced to at least one song or artist which opens some kind of doorway, through which further investigation is prompted. I wanted to do a radio show because it's fun, but also because I feel strongly about the need for dissemination of worthwhile music (as well as ideas and art in general) - especially that which has been unjustly relegated to obscurity. If I've been fortunate enough to find it, I'm compelled to share it, in order to broaden awareness of its existence.
