Whoa Nelly. Had so much fun recording this show I nearly made myself sick. Zach assisted with tune selection and dance moves. The booth was a habitable temperature. I had my first call-in request from a dude named Dave but was unable to accommodate him because a) Zach, instead of seeking requested tune, returned to dance party. b) there were only 10 minutes left in the show which I dedicated to playing the same Deep Purple song over and over – I swear, it was like the twilight zone – there was not even a cd in the player and the song kept broadcasting. Spooky. Well, call back man, I owe ya one. We did manage to play some Current 93, Bridgett Bardot, Art Bears, Nick Cave, Kate Bush, Andre Crouch, Martin Denny and James Chance. I absolutely dropped the ball on the request - the one task I was assigned during the entire two hour broadcast. But who has time to look through a stodgy database when there's such a hot dance party going down at KPSU headquarters? If you call next week, Dave, Knorq will loop your request over and over again as if it were a Deep Purple song.
