Louis the Child will be stopping by Portland’s Crystal Ballroom on their Last To Leave Tour on November 30 2017. Doors open at 7pm and tickets can be found here. This is an all ages event brought to you by Abstract Earth Project and Monqui. Ashe and Louis Futon will be the opening artists for this event.
Three years after meeting at a Madeon concert, the electronic pop production duo Louis the Child would open one of his shows. The due from Chicago consists of Robert “Robby” David Hauldren and Frederic “Freddy” Judson Kennett. The pair went to the same high school and had their own respective projects, but their paths never crossed. Robby manned the turntables as “Haul Pass”, while Freddy produced under the moniker Fatboy. After meeting on March 18, 2012 at that fateful Madeon set, the pair decided to join forces and start making music together under the name Louis the Child, even though Freddy was wrapping up high school and Robby had just enrolled at the University of Southern California.
They titled their debut EP Dimensions and would release a series of singles in the years that followed. “It’s Strange” with K.Flay, “Weekend” with Icona Pop, and “Fire” with Evalyn to name a few.
This show is expected to sell out so act fast!
