Zomboy

FFO: Kill the Noise, Skrillex, MUST DIE!, Datsik, Excision, Virtual Riot

Zomboy will be stopping by Portland’s Roseland Theater on his Rott N’ Roll North American tour on September 13 2017. Doors open at 8pm and tickets can be found here. This is an 18+ event brought to you by Double Tee and Disco Donnie Presents. Eptic and Xilent will be the opening artists.

Joshua Mellody better known by his DJ name Zomboy was born in a small town near England called Penzance. Zomboy came to America where he began producing and creating dance music but it wasn’t until he moved back to the U.K. where he began to incorporate his love for fellow DJ’s Skrillex and Rusko’s musical influence into his music. Thus becoming the dubstep legend he is today.

The name Zomboy comes from the video game Left for Dead. He kicked off his DJ career as Zomboy (and officially retiring his old name “Place your Bet$) in 2011 with his first EP titled Game Time. Following the success of his first EP he released Dead Symphonic in 2012. More EP’s followed year after and his success continued to grow, headlining the bass stage at every festival he performs at. The Roseland Theater will no doubt be filled with head banging dubstep fans on September 13th.
