Slumberjack and Daktyl were the openers for this show. Both coming with their different styles of electronic music. Slumberjack dropped new music from their EP released this year titled Fracture. Songs like “Afraid, Unafraid” and “Take me” got the crowd off their feet very early. Daktyl on the other hand came after with some slower electronic music that gave the crowd and a nice slow down for what was to come.
Troyboi‘s set started at 10:15 with two female dancers walking onto the stage to the intro of the song “B.I.A.” Troyboi ran out right as the beat dropped to hype up the crowd for his hour and half long set. This tour’s main purpose was for fans to witness the new music off his album Left Is Right, but Troyboi did more than that. The female dancers in the beginning weren’t the only performers who came out, he had acrobats, a rapper by the name of Healthy Chill, and even the Bohemian Dub Orchestra, a violin ensemble, come out to give his fans a show they will forever remember.
Troyboi‘s entire set was only his music, old and new. Songs like “O.G”, “Grimey” and “Look At Me” featuring west coast legend Ice Cube had the Roseland Theater dancing and waving their hands to beautiful trap music for the entirety of his set.
