Soundtrack Hysteria

Written by on January 16, 2016

Of course you all remember last year’s “Soundtack Madness” playlist from Fighting Rose (just humor me here), and you loved it, right? Well I loved compiling it, and thus could not squelch the urge to do it again. And in celebration of the amazing life of David Bowie, this list features two of his contributions to a couple of great soundtracks.

There are also a ton of pop-culture anniversaries paid homage to this week, and just so you don’t miss a one of them (and so you can impress your friends with your mad trivia skills):

Moulin Rouge (Baz Luhrmann, 2001) – 15th Anniversary

Wet Hot American Summer (David Wain, 2001) – 15th Anniversary

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (John Hughes, 1986) – 30th Anniversary

Scream (Wes Craven, 1996) – 20th Anniversary

Super Troopers (Jay Chandrasakhar, 2001) – 15th Anniversary

Little Shop of Horrors (Frank Oz, 1986) – 30th Anniversary
