We are here to expand your head. We want to anger your blood, get you fired up, feed your demons, provide background music for gothic orgies, enable you to be cool "just like me", but mostly this show is here to stroke my ego with. We shall try to play only the best in goth/industrial/EBM/noise that we hear, but that does NOT mean that we can't play the occasional high energy metal or solid classically inspired track.
Brought to you by the Universal Media Netweb, the "Re-Media Mix Show" is an effort to put the spotlight on people like Negativland, who are utilizing the media capturing technology that has existed over the years, to create an interactive form of art that brings to you sound that you've probably heard, recontextualized for a new (and very different) audience. Music that is anything but.
This show is a place for different DJs to showcase programming that you won't find anywhere else. From in-studio performances, old episodes of our favorite programs, or produced pieces for one-time broadcasting, this show is an ecclectic mix of what our station offers every single week.
