Vishnudata - Vishnudata

Artist:
Vishnudata
Review:

OMG OMG OMG!
The leader of the rainbow colored unicorn army is back! And while the unicorns are no longer visible on the album, I can tell that Valo (aka: Vishnudata) has hidden them throughout the tracks on his new album -simply titled 'Vishnudata'.

Review:

Some days are simply those days. They are hard to describe. The world isn't bleak. The sun is shining. You aren't really tired. You weren't recently dumped or fired; hell, you may have even found something you have long since lost. But for some reason, something is off.

Review:

And now . . . we are in August.
I paid rent yesterday. Bloody rent. Rent is like a ghost; always lingering about when you wish it wasn't. You want to sleep. You want to go about your day. You want a simple answer to a straightforward question. The ghost is lurking and giving riddles. Bloody ghosts.

Review:

And the great EvsY are back with another rockin' album of uptempo insane dance music.
If memory serves, this is album 4 from this duo and it is as slamming, funky, bouncy, and danceable as the rest of their catalog.
I'm currently hanging out in the lovely (lol) Philadelphia airport and have a few hours to kill before my connecting flight. While sitting here, I decided to finally give this album a listen and try to bust out a review. We'll see if I can manage to do this. I think I need a drink. LoL.

Hold Time- M. Ward

Artist:
M. Ward
Review:

M. Ward strikes up another great album. He features a lot of guest appearances on this album. One with Zooey Deschanel and a few others, who cannot not be thought of currently. This is a great folk/rock album. His songs are more up beat than his earlier albums which are nice. The album has the She & Him feel to it, but with total M. Ward. Each song will take the listener on a trip around awesomeville... population you. The album is a must for M. Ward fans, but if you're not into M. Ward this album will get you hooked on him. You'll want to know more about this Portland local.

Crop Circles - Tetrahedron -{*Album ov the Year*}-

Artist:
Crop Circles
Review:

It is quite possible that while our country is reaching new lows, we have also experienced the High-Water Mark of human civilization. Thinking back upon 2008, it is hard to think that I will ever encounter a year as massive as this.
(Editors Note: Yes, I am going to be using the word massive a lot. Get used to it.)

Rip Van Hippy & Rie lambdoll - Searching For Love

Artist:

Review:

Right now, I should be reading up on Vygotsky and his theories involving the Zone of Proximal Development. I should be writing about how this ZPD relates to how children learn and different ways that we can implement these theories into our schools so that we can achieve greater success and become a stronger and better city/state/nation/world/species.

But you know what?
I've been listening to this new Rip Van Hippy album for 2 weeks straight and it is time for me to talk about it.
