An interesting first album. My favorite track is Govinda, although I look forward to a remix version sans guitar solo (sorry – not my thing). Good mix of beats and sounds, I have to respect anyone with an interest in making KC hip-hop. I am not sure I understand all of the lyrics, e.g. the “om shakti” intro to Look to the East, is that supposed to be shanti (peace)? Hopeful that the future for this group will include fine tuning their style and lyrics.

Who knows what these kids will play...but they pick up the broadcasting thing quick!!!
Is this Music? is a radio show On KPSU 1450 AM that defies the laws of nature and sound, conversely the sounds of nature and the nature of sound, space and even, time. The forces at work behind this epic eclipse of noise are more mighty than even the mightiest sword and dwarf the combined magical powers of Ronnie James Dio and JRR Tokken
" El-Shammah" is a Hebrew phrase for " God Is There" or "God Exists". The show will be; playing uplifting christian music, mostly in English and ocaasionally, in other languages. As a Liberian who lived and grew up in Ghana (culturally, a Ghanaian), I cannot escape sometimes playing Godly songs of Praise and worship from Ghana, Liberia (both west African countries), and Africa as a whole. I will also do live worship and praise in acapella and play the conga drum sometimes to go with it: It'll be pure fun. I can't wait.
1HRx is BACK on KPSU, Saturday nights from 11pm-12am!
No matter how you classify it - if it's got soul - if it's true, if it's real - then it's on my show. There's a preponderance of jazz because jazz measures exceptionally well with this criteria. But the playlist extends out, in all directions, from there.
Cacophony will be having its last show Saturday February 2nd on KPSU for various reasons.

Love you! And keep your ears out for more Cacophony (learn more later---keep in touch!)

When it comes to it, I like a little bit of everything music wise. I think a lot of us do.
Music has come by too many labels and genres these days. Let's go all over the map. To go against my own complaint I guess I have to use some quick and dirty labels. Expect to hear some punk, pop, new wave, alternative, blues, dance, goth, synth....all eras. It's all about stroking the mood of the day.
