Is this Music? is a radio show On KPSU 1450 AM that defies the laws of nature and sound, conversely the sounds of nature and the nature of sound, space and even, time. The forces at work behind this epic eclipse of noise are more mighty than even the mightiest sword and dwarf the combined magical powers of Ronnie James Dio and JRR Tokken

indie/pop/local/rock/folk/jazz/reggae/stuff with Ando on KPSU Wednesday 1-3pm and Friday 9-10pm.

Playing music. Good music. Bad music. Mostly rock/indie(whatever that means)/pop-ish type music. But also folk, jazz, soul, hip-hop, or other neat stuff. You know it.

Concert dateJanuary 6, 2007ImageArtistThe School Of ROCK!ReviewThey were pretty good. They played all of the big Sabbath hits. Not to mention all of the sweet (cough, cough) Makeup they were wearing. The younglings (ages 7-9) opened up with an adorable cover of "I Love Rock n' Roll" and then it was SABBATH TIME!!!!!!! The musician's were very good with the the exception of some people. The "Ozzy"s were "interesting". To be honest most of them made my ears bleed. In a good way of course. And our friends Matt and Zane did an excellent job at playing things that I can't. I especially liked matts "Im playing bass" face. Afterwards there was a "Psychobilly" band. Even though they sounded more country than anything else. However everyone was in good spirits and we all had a good time.

Playing a mix of bargain basement LPs, sidewalk sale cassettes, merch bought at shows, field recordings, comedy, instructional materials, etc.-- as well as NEW music that the professor determines is not receiving its proper due.

An amalgamation of pleasurable noise with DJ Siren is not currently scheduled.

This show is a place for different DJs to showcase programming that you won't find anywhere else. From in-studio performances, old episodes of our favorite programs, or produced pieces for one-time broadcasting, this show is an ecclectic mix of what our station offers every single week.

Hippy-dippy indie rock, groovin' soul, and the occasional folky-blues stomp is not currently scheduled.
