Unknown Mortal Orchestra – “Multi-love”

Written by on January 14, 2016

Hey folks!

This week on Mood Swings, we’re taking a look at Unknown Mortal Orchestra‘s stellar 2015 album “Multi-Love“. This progressive psych rock band actually finds it’s roots in our very own Portland, OR as the guitarist/singer Ruban Nielson has lived here for a big part of his life. The bands’ positive energy, chill vibes, and extremely creative songwriting has earned them New Zealand’s “Best Alternative Album” award and my personal seal of approval (as I’ve listened to this album more than 20 times).

These guys are actually playing at Revolution Hall on January 30th (  21+ ). I’m so excited to hear them live, the energy these guys bring is amazing. If you can’t make the show, look into Sasquatch 2016 as they are one of the headliners this year.

Let me know what you guys think of the album. Does the crazy ecclectic songwriting appeal to your taste? It certainly does for me.
Hope you all enjoy this week’s episode of Mood Swings.

Until next time,

Peace
