Kirtan w/ Temple Bhajan Band

KIRTAN: The Temple Bhajan Band leads the audience in 'call-and-response' chants and recitation of mantras from the ancient Vedas, encouraging audience participation to experience the purifying pleasure of chanting.

For over nine years, The Temple Bhajan Band has performed nationally at yoga studios, festivals, retreats, and social events. Sura sings to harmonium accompaniment and leads band members on a variety of instruments including tamboura, kartals, ektar, and both djiembe and mrdunga drums. They create a dynamic, devotional symphony of ancient Vedic bhajans, mantras and chants from India's spiritual traditions.
