Live Friday

"Live Friday" has been a staple of KPSU broadcasts for quite some time, and bands have taken notice. The waiting list to get on the show is often quite long, and touring acts often cite KPSU as a desired stop. "Live Friday," of course, maintains it's philosophy that any and every band, of any and every shape and size, has a place on our airwaves. This makes it unique; one week you'll hear an up-and-coming local act who've never played out before, and the next week, Devotchka, Camper Van Beethoven or Jonathan Richman. Our variety is only matched by the number of great bands that play here in Portland, and it's our goal to serve them all with a weekly live program that appeals to every taste in music.
