Don't know if you said the Artist was Obie or Mooby or what, but that first song u played on the 15th by that Artist was near the saddest song I've heard.
Donnie Darko's song Mad World is the only one I know that comes close (besides maybe some Pink Floyd). I think I see why it fit your mood so well that night.
