Calling All Kats!

AndyZ & I will be doing another round of on-air karaoke requests this Wed.(24th)@ 7pm for the Pledge Drive. Feel free to come join us in belting out the call-in requests. We had a blast last week. Newbies or KPSU ALL-STARS veterans feel free to join us once again in the sub-basement. Good singin pipes not required.

Myself and AndyZ will be honored to have in the studio Kaitlyn ni Donovan of the High Violets (and Isolade) to talk about the upcoming new album. "To Where You Are" will be released on Jan. 31st. on Reverb Records and there will be a CD release party at the Doug Fir on Feb. 3rd. Her music is described as "pop noir" and she has been compared to Tim Buckley, Elizabeth Frazier, and Lisa Germano to name a few. Kaitlyn is a local musician who's been a fixture on the scene for over 10 years and if you haven't heard her beautiful pipes yet - tune in!!!

calling all cats! in the spirit of bolstering the local scene, we (andyZ and myself) are going to be hosting a series of interviews on the Moss Garden Variety Hour to kick off aught 6. the aforementioned ~views will host The Sort Ofs, O Discordia, Hight Violets, and Minmae to name a few. If anyone out there knows of any local artists who would like to be interviewed on air - please have them contact me. keep scratchin'!
