Listeners tomorrow will find a short delay for tomorrow's show, as we are allowing a very special What's This Called? episode spill over into our show. But, don't think that means we won't be on the air! Stay tuned!
Later in the hour, Johnathon Boober and myself will bring you a live performance by Olympia's Anastatica, a Psychedelic Doom / Melodic Black Metal band that will be stopping by KPSU for a live performance. They are on tour, and will be playing in Portland on September 13th at the Red & Black Cafe. They will also be playing Eureka California, Bellingham & Seattle too, so this would be a great way to check them out before the shows.
This will be an excellent show tomorrow, so please tune in. I'll post the usual download links and media when they are available.
Rock!

About
Austin Rich was born over 1000 years ago, "in the Hyperborean Lands, before the oceans drank Atlantis." Since then, Austin has traveled the entire planet several times over, fighting crime and balancing the cosmic forces that rule our lives. In his spare time, he's been a radio personality for the last 13 years, most recently on KPSU (previously on KWVA in Eugene, and locally on NPR). Austin uses the teachings of Blasphuphmus and his own personal record collection to enlighten the mass, touch your spirit, and make you feel like you need to call someone afterward to make sure it wasn't that creepy.

Rock!
Enjoy three hours of fantastic radio this week, all from the Saturday crew here at KPSU.
First, check out this two-hour History Lesson I cooked up, featuring the music that informed punk rock, pre-'75.
Episode 129: The Grumpy Punk Presents!: History Lesson Part I: Before '75 (Hour 1)
Episode 129: The Grumpy Punk Presents!: History Lesson Part I: Before '75 (Hour 2)
Then, as if that weren't enough, you can also kick back with a fantastic live performance by http://callow.bandcamp.com/, on "What's This Called?"
What's This Called w/ Callow, Live!
It's all a part of your regular entertainment diet, brought to you by none other than your friendly Saturday crew at KPSU.
Enjoy!
Then why not check out this two-hour block of short songs from yesterday's episode of Blasphuphmus Radio?
Hour 1 contains 121 short songs, from a show I did in 2009. Hour 2 contains 157 short songs, bringing the two-hour total to 278 songs! It's just one of the many gifts we like to give our listeners who demand more bang for their buck.
Enjoy!
This weekend K Records is putting on a incredible music festival: the Helsing Junction Sleepover!
All proceeds go to the organic farm where the festival is located.
Camp under Orchards with some sweet jams this weekend!
